Wikis

Vesper, WI did not have an entry on Wikipedia. I did learn that Vesper is also a drink made famous by Ian Fleming in Casino Royal! Perhaps we need a martini bar called the Vesper/Vesper. I added the Village of Vesper to the Wikipedia listing.

I can't think of anything off hand that we would use a Wiki for , but a camping trip sounds like fun. I suppose it would be a good place to easily post new books with the option of having others add to a wish list. I like it better than the blog for getting feedback like that because you wouldn't have to wade through pages of entries. I'll have to think on it some more.

Hi JoAnn,

This is Jean and I'm taking over this part of Project Play from Nichole. I've read through your blog postings for the semester and you've done a great job on Project Play!

Congratulations on making it through the first semester and I hope to see you back for more!

Keep on Playing!

Nice job on the Vesper, WI entry, JoAnn! Lots of good information - how did you come up with all of those points, then link them? Did you check each government site, for instance, then link to it? One more question - are you going to add the Vesper Public Library link at the bottom of your entry, along with the photo and historical info links? I'll have to come up with something else to write about for my entry - LOL!

Hi JoAnn, I'm having a Duh-moment - of course you didn't add the Vesper Library to the Wiki entry - the library's not online! Big Duh! If I have just one more cup of tea, I might just think more clearly!LOL
We'll have to chat sometime about this class - my son Sam comes in and talks with you every now and then, so I feel I know you a little bit :).

Hi Jill - I hope to have the Library on line very soon (but not as soon as I'd like) and then we'll add the link. Most of the Library Stuff has been put on by our Library Board President and I can just link to the Web Site he created for the Village. Sam is a neat kid and we always enjoy seeing him!

Stop in sometime if you get the chance. - JoAnn
